Dear Sir,
I am looking for an opportunity and relocation as well. I encounter the position advertised on your website. The project in which I am engaged now going to finish with the accomplishment of a product and IP.
Please have attached my CV -
Brief - I am a graduate of Chemistry (Ph.D./ MS- Metal Coordination chemistry) from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. Have completed the 4-years Post Doc from South Korea and then got the opportunity in July 2010 to work with Samsung Cheil Industry - R&D center, Yeosu plant, South Korea, a leading manufacturer company of Thermoplastic Elastomer now Lotte Chemicals. It was a time when I was in the process of academic knowledge to implementation in real industrial applications. I had been hired for the project to develop a hybrid ABS and more especially to develop the Solution Tappered SBR/ Block SBR. The project was to develop the Solution SBR from a Lab-scale reactor (5 liters) to a Pilot scale (550 liters) - handling and purification of Butadiene / N butyl Lithium ( injection time and location in reactor) / Quench or coupling was one of the key focus. We developed the Lab-scale product to Pilot scale successfully. But in between, I had to come back to India due to personal reasons in July 2013.
The solid rubber made me realized a lot of applications and I was eager to understand the end uses apart of Thermoplastic elastomer. I was lucky enough to get a short-term project to work in Newly Build Tire Plant (Asia longest plant from Banbury to the final product inspection to logistic at one place and in one integration land- Bias / Radial tire) ( Birla Tire now Cavendish Industries Ltd (JK industry) at my home town, Laksar Uttrakhand (150 km far away from Delhi)-I was looking for Banbury mixer/compounding / Chmeiacls and as rubber expert. It was a great experience to learn a lot about the application of rubber in different components of tires from Flap to tread to beading to calendaring etc.
Fortunate enough - Reliance hired me for R&D as senior scientist / Sr manager for Elastomer Group in Jan 2014- made a world-class R&D center (RCP, Navi Mumbai ) and Elastomeric Service Center (Surat) Gujrat. The project was to look for developing NEW product / technical service to existing old Co PBR (Polyser Technology ) Ni-PBR ( JSR technology) and newly build up a plant for Nd-PBR (JSR technology)- E SBR (Non-Oil / Oil) ( Versalis (Eni) technology)/ Buty Rubber (Sibur JV). The project was to handle the site troubleshooting through Lab R&D and develop a new raw material supplier / functional SBR.
To know more about rubber from solid to liquid created hungry to learn more. That result was, I landed in Indonesia (P T Medisafe, Indorama subsidiary ) as R&D Manager to develop the new product / technical support to plant troubleshooting, in June 2018. Same elastomeric materials family but the different applications - focus Latex - NBR / Chloroprene / Isoprene / Natural latices. The key factor is not the Money Viscosity but Viscosity / Polymer backbone and functionality attached. For example - Simple NBR latex to XNBR open a new era for accelerator-free gloves and better chemical resistance and Type IV compliance. The glove industries are very conservative and the focus on conventional chemicals (accelerators) might be a reason not to develop much dispersion-based chemistry. The glove industries are dependent on supplier quality and their product. Like Latex - Kumho / Synthomer / LG / Nantex / Zeon, CR - Denka / Showa Denko/ Tosoh(dominent by Japan). But if look very carefully in one decade - a significant trend to adopt new technology from the big player - Top Gloves/ Hartelaga / Riverside / Smart Glove / Ansell / Medline- Accelerator free compliance Type IV / Chemical resistant glove / Chemotherpic gloves / New crosslinker ( Not only Akron dispersion) - but epoxy-based / Polycarbodimide (Stahl / Midori / Angus ) as well. Here I earn the expertise of new dispersion application/compounding more specifically how to accommodate the new materials in dipping process like Trilene 65D / Cellulose / XSBR / Blends / etc. I experience that the new material (dispersion) approach to the dipping process should be different.
This is about my all career journey which I thought to share with you before approaching. I do know how my technical skills will be a valuable addition. But if you think I can contribute in a technical sense or another way, will be great. I fully integrate into my ethics and molarity.
Thankful for your time and patience to read.
