Dr. Farhat Ali Syed joined Presidency University in February 2023. An Economic graduate from Mumbai University, she has varied exposure of five years the in the industry & more than a decade in Academics. Dr. Farhat Ali Syed is Doctorate in Management and an MBA in HR and Marketing. She is also Certified in HR Analytics from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM Rohtak). She started her career with multinational companies and also developed software for All India Radio (AIR) but her love for teaching brought her to Academics. Her core interest area includes Behavioral Research, Employability Skills, and Life Skills. She has been actively involved in teaching, training, and research. Her expertise lies in using innovative teaching pedagogy like the use of short films, parables and stories, cases, simulations, and business games. She has edited the book “Golden Insight, Enterprising Soybean”, assisted in a biography of Padma Shri Awardee Dr. Nemnath Jain, “Ground to Glory” and written several research papers which are published in national and international journals listed in ABDC, Web of Science, Scopus, and UGC. She also has 2 patents to her credit.
