10-12 years of Application Design & Architecture experience with applications Migration from Data Centre to Public Cloud or Hybrid Cloud

• 5+ years Systems Design/Programming experience
• Must have delivered at least 2 full cycle Application Migration projects in the capacity of a Cloud Architect and participated in both strategy and execution phases
• Must have worked with global clients and should have the experience to consult and advice international clients
• Must have experience in migrating large scale application portfolio to cloud and should be familiar with estimation techniques, common risks , issues , mitigation techniques etc.
• Ability to perform infrastructure and application discovery and assessments working with Architecture team
• Capture migration requirements into MDD (Migration Design Document) based on Infrastructure, Application, Database & Network discovery
• Hands on experience designing and building AWS and /or Azure and/or Google cloud Infrastructure
• Evaluating and recommending third party tools for migration
• Assist with creating cloud migration strategies, defining delivery architecture, creating the migration plans, designing the orchestration plans, identify/create reusable assets and more. Assist in creating and executing of migration run books
• Determine source cloud (Physical, Virtual and Public Cloud) and target Workloads.
• Act as liaison to support teams, client & Vendors during migration.
• Use troubleshooting skills and work closely with operations, support, engineering and/or other functions to ensure successful migrations. Position Qualifications/Requirements
• Experience with private, hybrid or public cloud technology
• Detail oriented self-starter capable of working independently
• Familiarity with functional operations of server, storage, and network functions.
• Knowledge of storage Platform Technologies (SAN/NAS) including Hardware & Software (EMC/NetApp/Sun/IBM/HP etc.).
• Certification on any one of the Public Cloud (AWS/AZURE/Google)
• Technical documentation skills.
• Good Team player with customer facing skills.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.

Essential skills, knowledge & experience:

The candidate should have the ability to understand and communicate the following at an executive level both internally and externally:

• Experience with cloud migration technologies such as AWS SMS, Azure Migrate, etc.
• AWS or Azure trained / certified architect – e.g. Amazon Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional Level
• Understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and experience of integrating public cloud into tradition hosting/delivery models
• Strong understanding of cloud migration techniques and workflows (on premise to Cloud Platforms)
• Configuration, migration, and deployment experience in three or more of the following:
• AWS apps technologies such as RDS, Elastic Beanstalk
• Azure or AWS IaaS Technologies
• Deployed applications with Web UI front ends
• Deployed application with RESTful/SOAP services interfaces
• Experience building private AMI’s on VPC’s
• LAMP Stack and Linux experience
• High Availability and Disaster recovery implementations
• Experience architecting and deploying multi-tiered applications.
• Experience in architecting security architectures across infrastructure and applications
• Experience building and deploying multi-tier, scalable, and highly available applications using Java, Microsoft, and Database technologies
• Experience in performance tuning, including the following; (load balancing, web servers, content delivery Networks, Caching (Content and API))
• Experience as principal technical lead on at least one major project.
• Good understanding of application architectures
• Experience in designing and architecting applications using latest as well as legacy Microsoft technology stack including ASP.NET, ASP.NET Web API, Classic ASP, VB6, Microsoft SQL Server.
