Job Title: - Business Analyst/Operations Data Analyst, – Tsg - Analytics

Purpose of the role:

The operations data analyst will work closely with the operations manager in the analysis and interpretation of process data to support internal and external stakeholders in all MI reporting requirements. Apart from the reporting, the analyst will support the operations on all spend visibility projects managing the monthly refresh (enrichment of spend visibility) for multiple projects. The operations data analyst will go on to become the subject matter expert on the process and will interact with the internal client success team to ensure the smooth running of operations. People with a penchant for extracting the truth out of numbers and summarizing it for the operations teams would be the best fit for the role.

Primary responsibilities:

• The data analyst will be responsible for collecting and analyzing process data, from various internal applications using tools such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL and presenting them in easy-to-understand formats to stakeholders.
• the Data Analyst will be expected to retrieve the data develop spreadsheets and excel macros to filter, analyze, generate reports and draw conclusions from that data.
• Apart from reporting tasks, the Data Analyst will work closely with the operations manager assisting in the data enrichment of supplier spend, perform vendor master cleanses, and work on Grouping and Classification of all Suppliers and Invoice data.
• Performing quality checks for all the deliverables to ensure zero defects.
• Other Ad-hoc deliverables under analytics and advisory business as required.
• Working on services related to sourcing, procurement, and client support
• Participate in identifying opportunities to drive process improvements

Role Requirement:

• excellent command of the English language with strong written and verbal communication skills and will be able to communicate effectively across all levels and stakeholders
• Advanced MS Excel skills strong grasp of Excel (Charting, Formulae, Pivots, VB Macros in Excel)
• Proven track record in the production and delivery of detail and high-level business reporting to key stakeholders
• Knowledge and experience of using SQL (Basic SQL querying abilities) ability to interpret and query data and derive inferences
• Exposure to sourcing, procurement, and operations analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of Accounts Payable data fields in any ERP and experience in Sourcing & Procurement.
• Exposure to business analysis, tracking metrics
• Worked in shifts interacting with US or UK clientele

Education Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree / Masters is a plus

Professional Requirement

• 2-3 year of experience
• Exposure to sourcing or procurement

Shifts:

• UK (1pm to 10 pm) / US ( 5:30 pm to 2:30 am)
