Job Description: Delivery Manager

We are looking for a Delivery Manager who has 8+ years of experience in inspiring and leading technical teams and delivering scalable complex technical products, which includes working in fast-paced startup(s)/product space.

Responsibilities:

• Must have proven track record in successfully building, releasing, and maintaining large-scale user-client centric Digital / Web enterprise systems in a complex technology environment.
• Managing distributed scrum teams and a scrum of scrums delivery process, plan, organize and control areas of the IT delivery across multiple teams in partnership with various distributed delivery PM's, ensure projects are delivered within mutually agreed scope and timeline as part of the client coverage platform strategy.
• Ensure Agile concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls while leading and demonstrating value-add principles to a team.
• Instill best practices around coding techniques, architectural design, maximum code reuse, testability, application integration, performance, reliability, manageability and security, and understand how this applies to an agile environment.
• Support with PMO activities to provide Portfolio-program-project oversight and management for local and partner vendor resources.
• Build effective and collaborative cross departmental relationships to enable timely and quality deliverables.
• Ensure teams are following agreed and defined processes for delivery of software and support.
• Provide clear and crisp status updates into weekly project - program governance updated and meetings.
• Be credible and able to hold their own in technical and functional conversations with senior analysts and developers.
• Work with the distributed program - project delivery leads to enhance development processes to support the evolution of the teams ways of working.

Looking for candidates who have:

Mandatory Skills

• Good communication and ability to handle difficult clients
• Exposure to toolsets (Jira, Confluence or similar tools) across Requirements documentation, conversation design and Quality assurance.
• Has strong knowledge of Rest/Soap APIs, 3rd party software integrations.
• Development experience in Enterprise SaaS product.
• BA skills - solutioning, BRD, FSD, Scope Document, HLD, LLD etc.
• Project Management skills - project plans, reporting, handling development teams.
• Sound understanding of JavaScript and Node.js/Java.
• Strong understanding of systems using real-time interactions (web sockets, long-polling, server-sent events)
• Design and implementation of low-latency, high-availability, and performance applications.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Experience managing multiple services and modules with distributed and scalable systems.
• Experience working in an agile team environment and proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Experience working with clients to understand their requirements and implement optimal solutions
• Proactive outlook for ways to make the solution better
• Willingness to learn new technologies

Would be nice if you have:

• Fin-Tech and/or AI / NLP domain experience would be highly appreciated.
• Strong mentorship experience with junior and senior developers in best practices, providing guidance for implementation strategies.
