Role Description

Developer for Java Applications

Responsibilities & Functions

 

·         Understand problem areas clearly.

·         Suggest alternatives to a problem under consideration

·         Experience in developing applications on distributed platforms.

·         Should be able to estimations for self  and team

·         Team mentoring capabilities

·         Self-initiative to learn and explore

·         Collaborate with other team to create quicker issue resolution to achieve high customer satisfaction

·         Participation in user’s functional requirement studies

·         Involved in analysis, design, coding, SIT, UAT and support

·         Interested in learning new technology and accordingly performing POC’s

·         Handle Impact analysis of existing modules for Production issues and defect fixing.

·         Support for Application Users
 

 

-          Technical Skills

  • Core – Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Data JPA, HTML, Hibernate, Angular
  • Optional – Micro Services, Docker  

 

·         Web Technologies HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, MVC, JQuery

·         Application Servers- Oracle WebLogic, Tomcat Migration

·         Source Control  SVN, Git 

·         IDE Eclipse

·         Database & Tools Oracle 11g onwards, PL/SQL,--Pls make this as preferred you will not get both in one developer. Mention Basic Oracle Queries

·         Able to write complex SQL queries

 

-          Qualifications

o   Preferably a BE / MCA / MBA

Preferred Skills
  • Design Skills & Tools - UML 2.0, Microsoft Visio, Star UML,
  • Messaging REST, JSON, Jackson, WADL
  • Web Technologies- AngularJS
  • Quality Control - Jira, Bugzilla, etc.
  • Deployment Jenkins, Maven, Apache Ant,
  • Skills on JSF, JBPM, Enterprise Integration Patterns, SOA, REST, XML Design Patterns, API Design of various messaging formats
  • Struts 2.x
  • Performance monitoring experience using J profiler , Melody
  • Java Content Repository Integration
  • New technologies for Mobile based Development
  • Well-versed with Design Patterns
  • Java Certifications
