Your Responsibilities: (What is this role all about? What does the applicant have to do?)

§  Familiarize with the daily operations and activities within Network Engineering, and clearly understand the key controls and risk areas. Able to translate this understanding into audit or testing activities to assess the compliance rate of these key controls and to gauge the risk potentials.

§  Be resourceful and conduct independent audit or testing activities; present findings to relevant managers and teams, drive improvement initiatives to improve future audit/test results, drive and monitor the team to ensure these improvement initiatives are executed as plan.

§  Support all activities by Digi Internal Audit which impact the department; review and approve all data or responses to be provided to Digi Internal Audit (accurate, relevant and timely), review and give feedback to any findings or report from Internal Audit before they are finalized, drive ownership and closure of action items resulting from any audits, ensure management alignment is achieved and approval obtained as and when required.

§  Collaborate with other departments (especially Finance) which are affected by Network Engineering’s daily operations, to ensure Digi’s financial reporting or activities are accurately represented.

§  Lead and drive continuous process reviews and improvement initiatives to strive for higher efficiency, resource optimization and opportunities to incorporate automation

§  Manage Network Engineering’s CAPEX and OPEX/COGS; collaborate within the department to prepare annual CAPEX/OPEX/COGS, monitor and approve actual spendings against plan, analyze any deviation against plan and devise mitigation actions, coordinate any requirements from Board, Digi Management Team, Group or Regulatory.

§  Working experience in Business Planning or Telecommunications Engineering

§  Academic background in Business Planning or Engineering

§  Proficient in both written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia
