• Responsible for creating and executing performance scripts
• Providing analysis of testing results and giving insights into troubleshooting defects or issues found
• Ability to analyse and resolve problems of moderate to high complexity, requiring strong knowledge of hardware components, systems, software, and networking technologies.
• Ability to perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development, and implementation within specific technology areas.
• Strong partnering, negotiation, and communication skills in working with Business Customers and Technology support.
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologies obtained through formal training and/or work experience.
• Strong knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.

• Minimum 3 years of work experience in System Engineering (or equivalent knowledge base) required.

Preferred

• 3 years of professional experience developing test cases and test scripts for performance testing from scratch preferred.
• 3 years of professional experience setting up and executing performance tests within Load Runner/Performance Center. Experience executing and analysing a variety of performance tests such as Baseline, Load, Capacity, Stress, Volume, Endurance and other non-functional tests preferred.
• 2 years professional experience providing performance tuning recommendations based of test results and analysis preferred.
• 2 years professional experience troubleshooting performance issues utilizing tactics such as log reviews preferred.
• Experience performance testing systems that utilizing messaging queues such as JMS or Rabbit MQ preferred.
• Experience utilizing Splunk for big data parsing preferred.
• Experience utilizing JMeter preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate a thorough understanding of architectural diagrams preferred.
• Experience utilizing application profiling tools such as Dynatrace, Hp Diagnotics, etc, preferred.
• Experience utilizing SiteScope preferred.
• Experience with JVM Heap analysis preferred.
• Experience with a migration to the cloud, particularly AWS, preferred.
• Experience performance testing applications within a cloud platform preferred.
