Scope, design, develop and enhance Microsoft Power BI report and Microsoft Analysis Services
Microsoft Azure SQL and SQL Data Warehouse models
Azure Data Lake Store environments Tune/optimize/refactor queries, processes and system designs to improve performance and throughput
Maintain active relationships with business customers to determine and document business and technical requirements
Facilitate requirement, design, testing and training sessions with business customers and colleagues.
Convert existing manual Excel/Access/Power BI datasets/reports into SQL Server/Analysis Services/Power BI solutions
Proven track record in Database Performance Tuning, Database Security, Promoting Process Improvement, Problem Solving, Presenting Technical Information, Quality Focus, Database Management, Data Maintenance, Operating Systems, Attention to Detail, and Information Security Policies
Proven enterprise database administration experience in Oracle/Microsoft SQL Server
Proficient in design and development of relational (& optionally hierarchical) databases, including ability to design for performance, scalability, availability, flexibility & extensibility, meeting security requirements.
Proficient in High Availability concepts including database recovery procedures, HA design and effective disaster recovery planning.
Proven experience in managing and facilitating the mix of internal teams and external vendors as a part of product build out.
Strong team building and people management skills are a must.
Developing a set reports based on defined Wireframes
Performance Tuning
Interacting with Key Business Stakeholders
Strong skills in PowerBI.
Deep understanding on BI concepts.
Understanding of integrating BI tools in web-applications or portals.
B.Tech. / M. Sc (Computer Science) / MCA / M.Tech. 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing and delivering end to end BI / DWH applications with good understanding of PowerBI. Also required is the understanding of an RDBMS like Oracle or SQL Server with OLTP and OLAP data models and database optimization techniques.
