Job Description

Position Description: QAD Competency is looking forward to hire QAD Techno-Functional professional who has extensive experience, skills, qualifications, and commitment in directing and managing engagements or individual projects/solutions using ERP (example QAD) domain expertise in collaboration with offshore team and onsite team/client.

Experience: 10 - 12 years

Qualification: MCA/ MS/ BS in Computer Applications, IT and/or BTech in Software Engineering/ Computer Engineering/ IT

Job Responsibilities:

Primary role would be to actively work in different phases of the project including problem definition, effort estimation, diagnosis, solution generation, design and deployment. (This is relevant for projects that are being handled through QAD)

Create requirement specifications from the business needs, define the to-be-processes and detailed functional designs based on requirements.(Customer will come up with specific requirements and these have to be converted to a technical specification based on which the project development can occur. Problem diagnosis is important, understand the root cause and provide solutions).

Support configuring solution requirements on the products; understand if any issues, diagnose the root-cause of such issues, seek clarifications, and then identify and shortlist solution alternatives.

Contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers. Our organization has a quality standard and deliverables need to match up with those expectations

Ability to work with clients to identify business challenges and contribute to client deliverables by refining, analyzing, and structuring relevant data. Developing technical specifications and architecture.

Reviews and analyses change requests to determine the scope of work and estimate the level of effort for application changes.

Provides problem resolution support, specific to application issues; identifies and resolves problems in application software, determines symptoms and ensures accurate problem definition.
