Job Description

Position Purpose And Summary

This position is responsible for reviewing and performing (OTC) activities which includes processing journal entries, process intercompany transactions, handle fixed assets accounting, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting activities.

This position will also lead process improvements in all areas of Order to Cash processes, train the rest of the team on process changes and continuous improvement process and assist in audit activity.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Lead various Finance activities, which includes processing journal entries, process intercompany transactions, handle fixed assets accounting and close process activities
  • Responsible for reconciling and reviewing control and current accounts including Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Responsible for Consolidation of OTC  data & Reporting activities
  • Ensure the SOPs are updated and maintained on a timely basis for any changes in the process
  • Leads process improvements in all areas of OTC processes; and will serve as initial contact person to A&R Teams with regards to Period end close processes.
  • Training new hires on the process
  • Training the rest of the team on process changes and communicating the continuous improvement process to the team.
  • Building Cohesive Team Environment and be a Point of Contact for Stakeholders in absence of the Team Lead/Supervisor
  • Assist in the team lead in communicating process changes to the stakeholders
  • Participate in Special projects to drive efficiency
  • Competent in Handling Escalations and ad-hoc requests on a timely manner
  • Active participation in GPO Initiatives and Global Projects as an SME(Subject Matter Expert)
  • Build Adequate Process Control and effectively Manage Audit Queries
  • Assist in peer audits on a quarterly basis to ensure that the Balance sheet policy is being followed

Required Qualifications

  • Any graduate with 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency – Thai
  • Prior experience of doing onsite migration and experience in creation of effective desktop procedures/standard operating procedures is an added advantage
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Experience in Credit, Credit Management ,Credit Appraisal ,Finance etc

The timings would be APAC timing – 6.30am to 3.30pm

Also 6 days working is  mandate and extended hours based on business requirement as the particular process is still in migration/stabilisation Phase.
