General responsibilities

1.     Oversee and manage operating departmental budgets and costs according to annual allocation to ensure efficient allocation of resources

2.      Establish and oversee implementation of SCM CoE framework/service offerings to deliver business results and value to stakeholders

3.     Set Supply Chain Management standards, best practice processes and guidelines to support local Supply Chain Management strategies and processes

4.     Establish overall Supply Chain Management performance measurement and tracking mechanisms to ensure consistency of supply chain performance throughout the Country

5.     Set direction on the development, execution and monitoring of initiatives to ensure value-driven projects and return on investment of SCM related activities and manage cost efficiency effectively.

6.     Drive best practice supply chain standards, systems and procedures across the Country. Ensure compliance of supply chain processes to industry and regulatory guidelines

7.     Lead the design, execution and monitoring of development programs (including train the trainer) to transfer knowledge and best practices on supply chain management

8.     Provide technical and leadership support to management team on performance and issues related to supply chain management

9.     Anticipate stakeholders' needs, provide solutions and align SCM CoE plans to business priorities. Drive collaboration and learning opportunities across Supply Chain functions

10.  Manage importation and custom clearance of ingredients for PHI, SCI, FBI, and PCI with diverse expertise

11.  Manage few exports as well

12.  Warehouse management(Standard, hazardous and cold chain)

13.  Manage monthly invoicing

14.  Manage supply chain and warehouse team (pallet position, storage optimization, forecast and stock management closely with Sales Group for better optimization of warehouse space)

15.  Closely work with business line and functions for better efficiency

16.  Design and evaluate KPI for Supply Chain and warehouse team

17.  To work on cost savings projects assigned by organisation

18.  Manage logistics & distribution cost

19.   Manage transportation of the ingredients for all the products

20.  Manage sampling activities (Inbound and outbound)

21.  Collaboration with sales for smooth operations and excellence

22.  Legal knowhow related to customs/freights/import-export legal compliances, other SCM related activities are must to have

23.  Closely work with finance to set standard related to transportation/ ware house management /loading- unloading/CHA (freight forward) cost optimization (min 3-4 vendors) quotation to be obtained for better negotiation

24.  Any other SCM related activities will be assigned based on Organizational needs

Job requirements

Functional skills and knowledge

·         Demonstrate in-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain management

·         Demonstrate strategic/tactical financial skills to drive operational improvements across supply chains

·         Demonstrate advanced experience in cost control and productivity improvement initiatives

·         Proven experience in managing complex supply chains in a multinational and cross-border environment

·         Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain best practices and standards

·         Demonstrate appreciation and respect for cultural sensitivities especially in international/cross-cultural interactions

·         Demonstrate proficiencies in office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

·         Demonstrate fluency in English, both written and spoken

Soft skills

Education

·         Bachelor’s degree in any field, Supply Chain Management specialization, MBA in Operational Management will be added advantage.

Work experience

·         Minimum 10 to 12 years’ experience in a similar role

Minimum  8 years’ experience in a managerial capacity and leading team
