Job Description
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years working experience
• Possess at least 5 years of experience in telco industry with domain knowledge of BSS/OSS
• Possess at least 5 years of experience managing vendor
• Possess working knowledge on system architecture and infrastructure
• Good problem solving skills and ability to prioritize issues based on criticality
• Good understanding of SQL and Linux commands
• Good understanding of incident and change management process as well as system compliance
policies e.g. user access control
• Good communication, presentation and report writing skills
• Experience in PL/SQ, SQL ( >3 years)
• Experience in Unix ( >3 years)
• Familiar with SFDC, ZTE ZSMART -Value added but not mandatory
• Added advantages if have experience in Telco industry, or familiar with Telco products and
services
Responsibilities:
• End to end platform accountability, ensure stability, effective, efficient, availability, timely and
quality of IT Services within Corporate Applications.
• Execute Software/platform upgrade according to dimensioning requirements from Solution
Architects
• Manage Internal and External stakeholders / Partners and Vendors in the delivery of capabilities.
• Operation Readiness Lead (OR Lead) – Participate in project on behalf of Operations in making
sure project complied with requirements and standards set in OR Checklist. Lead in discussion and
ability to convey the needs during project meeting
• Subject Matter Expert – Taking up responsibility to support new systems introduced to AMS – Non
Consumer
• Audit Compliance - PIC for internal stream during audit and ensuring we comply to
internal/external audits
• Incident Management – Able to perform t/shooting and resolve incident within agreed SLA
• War room Management – 24x7 onsite support as domain sme once war room declared
• Corrective Maintenance & Implementation – Comply to corrective maintenance process, create
and revise test case for verification
• Preventive & Capacity Maintenance – Perform daily health check, performance monitoring,
analyze trends
• Operation Excellence – Ensure end to end process are established and services are fully
operational. Continuously work with internal teams to draft out initiatives/improvement plan
• Festive and event based preparation, monitoring, review, prepare, drives and execute
contingencies during the events (plan activities, outages, festive and etc)
• Quality of work – Complete assigned tasks within agreed time frame with quality in mind
• Communications – Structured updates with clear objectives
• Groom juniors – Responsible to groom junior whenever necessary
• Handling audit queries and meetings with auditor
