Intraday means 'within the same day'.
In intraday trading, traders buy and sell the stock within the same trading day.
Indian markets open at 9.15 a.m. and close at 3.30 p.m.
So all intraday tradings take place within this time frame.
Stocks are traded to earn profits and not to invest for the long term.
Individuals engaging in intraday trading are known as traders.
