LED Low Voltage Lighting - LED lamps have changed the tech world. They came to replace incandescent and gas-discharge lamps and almost instantly burst into everyday life. LED luminaires are convenient, practical, safe and easy to use. But the main thing is that they significantly help to save money. And thanks to a wide range of products, it is easy to find low-voltage luminaires for homes, industrial premises, offices and institutions.
Despite the 220V indoor standard, low voltage luminaires quickly gained popularity. Firstly, they are used in rooms with high humidity and dampness, where the use of wiring with 220V is dangerous. Secondly, the advent of spotlights has changed the approach to lighting in space. Thanks to modern technologies, lamps have begun to consume much less energy, and their technical capabilities are ahead of their predecessors.
Low voltage Led Lights has the following advantages:
- the duration of the lamp's operation reaches 70 thousand hours, which is several times longer than conventional incandescent lamps;
- energy consumption is low, while the quality of lighting is much better than traditional bulbs;
- low-voltage luminaires are presented in various versions, ranging from classic and authentic lamps to modern LED strips and hi-tech lamps;
- due to the use of low current, the likelihood of injury is significantly reduced, so the use of LED lamps is safer;
- there are no harmful components in the composition, therefore, LED lamps are environmentally cleaner;
- due to its technical properties, low-voltage lighting can be used in various conditions, both outdoors and at home or in industrial buildings;
- due to low current consumption, lamps are perfectly powered by wind generators, solar panels and other alternative energy sources;
- low-voltage lighting is used in rooms with high humidity;
- the sealed housing of LED lamps ensures the safety and durability of the equipment;
- the design is simple, does not require complex maintenance, and the long warranty period from the manufacturer gives confidence in the quality.
LED lighting is practical and convenient. Therefore, the use of low voltage luminaires is an excellent solution for savings, benefits and safety.
WHERE LOW VOLTAGE LIGHTING IS USED
Low voltage lighting has a fairly wide range of applications. Previously, such lamps were used as emergency lighting, but today they are used in everyday life, in public places and in industries. Here's where LED bulbs and fixtures are used:
- High humidity locations. Tunnels, hydroelectric power plants and other technical facilities are equipped with ice lamps, since low-voltage systems are safe, protected from short circuits even in the event of cable damage. Also low-voltage lamps are installed in baths, saunas, bathrooms.
- Explosive objects, such as nuclear power plants, mines, oil and gas enterprises, are also equipped with low-voltage lamps. Even in the event of an explosion, the special housing of the luminaire is retained, and the lamp switches to emergency power.
- Household lighting. The most common use of LED lamps is a residential building or apartment. Such lamps provide white light that does not irritate the eyes, and thanks to design solutions, they easily fit into various interiors.
- Street lighting. LED lamps can easily withstand climate change, suitable for streets, public places. They provide soft light, consume little energy, and work efficiently.
- Emergency lighting. It is used both in residential and industrial complexes. LED luminaires are connected to autonomous batteries and, if necessary, provide a sufficient amount of light in case of accidents.
- Transport. LED lamps are installed on cars, trains, airplanes and other types of transport. They are economical, durable, and easily run on battery power.
