While I may not remember every detail of my childhood, I do remember feeling loved and protected, being the youngest in the family. We are a respectable, illustrious, nuclear family, and each one of us has made our mark on our own. Despite my family's modesty, they ensured that we went to the best schools and colleges. Similarly, my older siblings than me taught me, shared their knowledge, and walked with me in real-life experiences. 

My parents are my biggest inspiration as they have been selfless throughout their lives. They dedicated themselves completely to making us what we are today. They taught us to be financially independent, never distinguishing between a boy and a girl. They believed in giving us the best education and letting us stand tall on our own feet. They taught us to generate the best outcomes from limited resources. They taught us to dream and dream BIG.

In the years of growing up, my parents instilled the discipline of daily life. The sincerity honesty each of us shows in our work makes us passionate dedicated in all our endeavors. We look forward to making the most of any new day, which sparks unbridled optimism in me to make things happen. A concoction of the above defines my personality and the way I lead my life even today. 

In my growing years, I was a science student, with mathematics being my strength. I live my life compartmentalizing myself each day in slots. Each slot has an objective to meet, both in my personal and professional life. It also has a time attached and the desired outcome envisaged. I love working, love caregiving, and love contributing. I love letting people experiment and standby to hold them if they need or clap for them when they succeed. So balancing any act comes naturally to me. I advocate facilitate a healthy work-life balance. 

In professional spaces, too, things are better than before. However, we can still bring even more equality in the workplace in general. This could be through pay parity or betting on talent more than experience and gender. Women are hardworking the world over. They are great at multitasking, caregiving, silently marching towards betterment and success, either for themselves or for others. If I had the superpower to do something for Women for one day, I would give them their designated “ME TIME.” They are usually entangled in the complexities of life, diligently looking after their loved ones, working harder to progress professionally, and trying their best to keep their head high despite adversities. 

I suffered a setback too, a few years back when I lost my mother. While I don’t think I can ever overcome this setback, I do my best to think act as she would want me to. She made me what I am today. Apart from this, I have had my own share of trials and tribulations in my 20-year long professional career as a Banker. I have worked with the finest minds and individuals over a period of time.

They became my friends and mentors. They are my well-wishers my best critics. So I ensure that I successfully transfer the same formula to all the women I work with. Women, after all, are an unstoppable force.
