Many studies have openly discussed the critical issues associated with remote working, like the 2019, Buffer report titled “State Of Remote Work” that highlights that 17% of the remote working employees face challenges with collaboration and communication. Here, we try to address these issues based on the background research conducted by the SCIKEY’s research team. Our team at SCIKEY, decided to conduct this study to highlight that given the right mode of engagement any employee can be groomed to enhance remote productivity provided he/she is kept motivated. Depending on the key driving force, this report aims to provide pointers on how to effectively engage employees to be remote working champions.
Employee engagement has become critical to an organization’s success as compared to employee retention. The thread tying employee performance, engagement and retention is motivation. Therefore, engaging employees based on their driving forces simply cuts to the chase. Given the right mode of engagement, every employee can excel at working from a remote location if only their hiring organization knows what is the one thing that drives them the most.
