If I tell you to think for a minute, find 100 reasons that makes you feel bad, and you’ll see it is really easy. Actually it is. We don’t need to search for the concrete, we see it everywhere. Because this is how we have learnt till now. But if I tell you find a reason which made you happy today, you might need to think. Major goods we always remember, if something new happened in our lives which made us happy, but what about all small things we do everyday? I know, I know, life becomes boring after you start earning, same routine and stuff. And that creates negative mindset, not seeing new possibilities, daily chores, mundane life.
We all love holidays, because we find something new. We can feel the fresh air, beautiful mountains and river, or watching a sunset in new city and trying famous dishes. Even if something goes wrong in the journey, we take it mildly and say, we had that bad experience but it made our trip memorable.
Compare the same in your routine days. What do you feel? It’s normal. Everybody feels so. And if you’re okay with it. There’s no problem, problem comes when we want to better, we want to improve. Then there’s definitely problem in current situation.
We have created emotional patterns which repeats when similar situation occur.
One of my friend was reading a book on mindset and I’ve heard people talking about mindset. But I would say, I have seen very less people who has positive mindset. And I had not a chance to closely look at their behaviour.
A person seeks something in everything they do. Actively or passively, consciously or unconsciously. But they do. And it changes time to time. It might be feeling negative emotion. It might be for learning something new. Or to be just happy.
We all love to be around people who are always happy, they don’t regret about everyday life, about what’s happening in India and US. Of course they care, but it doesn’t affect their happiness or what they’re upto. It’s really good to see them and to learn from them.
Happiness is here and now. Past has miseries and future has doubts. Are you being happy now?
It’s a practice. No matter what happens, I’ll be happy. And we all can do that. It’s just a matter of efforts and mindset. Can you imagine a world full of happy people? Are you being happy now? If not, be.
