You'll learn strategies for providing verbal notice to your employer, composing a resignation letter and preparing your coworkers for your departure. Here are some basic tips to get you started:
1. Be honest with yourself about why you are leaving your current job. Make a list of reasons and decide which ones you want to share with your current employer.

One of the most important things to do after you get an Interview Call is to carefully read the Job Description (JD) carefully!
All of us are guilty of doing this… Preparing one ‘generic’ resume and emailing it to every company without reading about their job openings.
But now that you’ve gotten an interview call, carefully read the Job Description, because that is the easiest way for you to figure out what’s going on in your interviewer’s mind.
While reading the JD carefully right before your interview, notice what are the minimum qualifications for the job, preferred qualifications, responsibilities, how it describes the company.
The more you read it, the more you’ll understand where there is an overlap between what they want and what your strengths are. And this overlap is what you need to keep re-iterating and reminding them throughout the interview.
Show them how you can solve the problems that they are currently facing. I’ll tell you how to do that effectively in Tip #3. But for now, open your Job Description and read every word carefully…twice.
