My name is VINCENT LEOW WENG SOON.

As a general HR practitioner, I am an organized, analytical, structured & people-person Manager-In-Charge of human resources spectrum.
I worked proactively, and am equally comfortable reacting to putting out fires where they are!
With keen attention to detail and as a strong communicator, I am able to grasp with a high tolerance for ambiguity or vagueness of numerous complicated or contradictory details.
I sharpened my experience at my table office and reports weekly to Top Management – MDs & CEOs alike.
A DAY IN MY LIFE
As a self-starter, my days were pretty varied as you could envisioned
Multitasking is a way of life and sometimes, my skills and natural talents will be challenged to support various business priorities.
That said, the bulk of my working hours involved having to:
• Assist and communicate with managers & key stakeholders in organizational development and design, project management and implementation;
• Focusing on day-to-day tasks, enabling the MD/CEO to focus on larger strategic organizational initiatives such as team talent management, preparation, follow ups and managing stakeholders;
• Provide spot on support in areas pertaining to internal & external communications and meetings, operational support and interaction;
• Oversee cross-functional/organization-wide projects from development through to final execution or user acceptance under the purview of senior leadership and collaboration with departmental heads; and
• Serve as liaison between ground staff, executives, managers, senior key stakeholders and MD/CEO/COO/CTO regarding company key performance indicators and objective key result areas, employee mental wellness, project updates, proposals, and planning to amplify and improve on the MD’s/CEO’s communication.
At the onset, I am culture-ready and work with various organizations’ teams.
To help me adapt better, I liked to be shared with organization’s core values & beliefs on leadership.
To put it simply and in perspective, I am a leader who would:
• Roll up my sleeves as needed, and never delegate work that I would not be willing to do myself;
• Do what is needed to get things done now not later, as I believed that proactiveness and accuracy goes along hand in hand and is more important than anything else to effect changes for continuous improvement;
• Communication in vital, particularly as I am quite autonomous or independent in nature when in action at work;
• Take care of all staffs' wellbeing, and treat everyone impartially with respect as anyone would want to be treated; and
• Are rigid on goals, but flexible on the details.
MY SKILLS
I was informed in feedbacks by others to be :
• So organized with a structured and methodical approach;
• A clear communicator with the ability to distill or dissect information and communicate effectively & tactfully to others in both verbal and written forms;
• Excellent in relationship building, senior influencing skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues; as well as
• Able to operate independently to navigate tight deadlines, juggle a long list of competing priorities, and operate in a dynamic environment without compromising sharp attention to detail.
MY QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• 25+ years of experience working in industrial chemicals, heavy machinery engineering, hospitals, properties, palm oil agriculture, aviation, start ups, etc.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel to include formulae, data manipulation, data analysis, spreadsheet controls and good practice.
• Advanced proficiency in using human resource softwares such as Google Workspace - Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, Meet, Mail, Shared Cloud Drives; BossNet, Peoplesoft, SAP R/3, Hyperion, MYOB, etc.
